Work Package coordinator John Bostock from the University of Stirling (UK) will present during the session Education, Extension, and Technology Transfer, on Tuesday, May 20, at 12:10 PM. BACK to top Aqua-RET (Aquatic Renewable Energy Technologies) held its third successful partner meeting in March, in Athens. The consortium are busy compiling material for the development of 5 modules based on aquatic renewable energy technologies. The website will include an e-learning section incorporating newly designed Aqua-RET animations and graphics and a resource section where users will be able to download lots of useful material such as manuals, posters and graphics. AquaTT appointed as Co-Facilitator of EATP’s Knowledge Management Thematic Area The Board of Directors of the EATP (European Aquaculture Technology Platform), after receiving about 50 proposals, has appointed all Chairs and Facilitators for the 7 Thematic Areas. David Murphy, Manager of AquaTT, has been appointed facilitator of the Knowledge Management Thematic Area, together with Karl Almås, President of SINTEF Fisheries and Aquaculture. Chair of this group will be Luc Grisec, Director of AAH R&D, Intervet. PROFET POLICY – Mediterranean Fisheries Workshop, 12 – 13 June 2008, Marseille (France) The five PROFET POLICY workshops organized around Europe in 2007 were a great success, and we are now pleased to invite you to the next one, focusing on Mediterranean Fisheries.
