AQUALAB Training Course - Wageningen University, the Netherlands February 27 - March 3 2006

The new and exciting laboratory-based “Design and Operation of Recirculation Technologies" training course is the sixth in the AquaTT-led, Marie Curie funded series known as AQUALABS. It will be hosted at the Aquaculture & Fisheries Group, of the Department of Animal Sciences of Wageningen University, Wageningen, the Netherlands. This outstanding university has a well established reputation as a centre of excellence in aquaculture systems research with focus on recirculation systems. The Aquaculture and Fisheries Group supports, stimulates and promotes the development of aquaculture through research and training at academic level, for students and clients, nationally and internationally. Wageningen University has a track record of organising short 2-5 day training courses on the design and operation of recirculating technologies.

Targeted at PhD level students and early-stage researchers in companies and educational institutes, a significant number of funded places are available on the course and thus, all interested parties are invited to apply early in order to be able to benefit from this generous offer. Part and parcel of the educational experience within Marie Curie is the opportunity for young researchers to exchange and discuss ideas and meet leading experts in the field of research.
